How to Drive Boatloads of Traffic to Your Website

Blog and Ping: In this method, you create a new post and ping the blog directories. Pinging is just the process of letting the blog directories know that you have just updated your blog post and that they should include it in their index. Some blog directories include:
http://www.kping.com/
http://www.pingomatic.com/
http://www.pingtheempire.com/
http://www.pingoat.com/
http://www.blogfluxpinger.com/
http://www.feedshot.com/ (Not free)

Forums: A forum is a place where people having the same interests and passions hang out together to discuss with each other. In a forum, there are always the advanced members or experts, the intermediate members as well as the junior members as well as a moderator. This of course also depends on the type of forum as well as the forum software.
Basically, any member of the forum can post a question about a topic he would like to get an answer to and any member of the forum can answer it as long as he knows it. At the end of each post or after answering a question, the person can include his signature file (known as a sig file for short).A sig file simply contains some information about the person that made the post and a link to his or her site. Most forum software’s allow you to create your sig file in your admin area and automatically include it at the end of every post that you make.
Most forums do not allow blatant advertising and people that do post such blatant ads get banned from the forum. It is always good to read the forums rules when you are joining and abide by them. Some good forums to join are:
www.warriors.com/forum
www.williecrawford.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi
www.ablake.net/forum
www.webproword.com/forum.php
www.greatinternetmarketing.com/forums
Some forum softwares you can use on your website include:
Phpbb (www.phpbb.com)
Yabb (www.yabb.com)
Wowbb (www.wowbb.com)

Tag and Ping: This method is similar to the Blog and Ping method but here, you create tags for your blog post. Tags are to blogs what keywords are to websites. These tags are placed at the bottom of your blog post. Any time a person searches for a blog using one of your tags, your blog post is one of those that will show up. You can create your tags at the following websites for free:

Social Networking: Social Networking websites are sites that allow you to make friends with people from all over the world and in the process form a network of friends. All you have to do is to position yourself as an expert and provide them with enough information on your area of expertise. This will make them come to trust you. You can also put an opt-in box on the site so that they can subscribe to receive your ezine or free eBooks directly in their emailbox.Once you are able to capture their names and email addresses, you can follow up on them and market your products and services to them. Some good social networking sites include:
http://www.myspace.com/
http://www.squidoo.com/
http://www.linkedin.com/
http://www.ryze.com/
You can use any of the following service providers for your opt-in box to subscribe people to your profile:
http://www.feedburner.com/
http://www.feedblitz.com/
www.zoodoka.com/index.cfm?apg=home
We continue from here in the next post.
Please post your comments on the blog so that I can know if you are learning some new things. Also, please feel free to ask questions and I will answer them as quickly as possible.
